	Welcome to Algonquin East Gate Motel. We are a small friendly family business.

Our rooms are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Cable TV with the Movie Channel is a nice way to relax
after an adventurous day in Algonquin Park.

Breakfast is served daily in our cozy dining room from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m (not included but available). The Algonquin East Gate Motel is located on Highway 60 just east of the Algonquin Park's East Gate in the village of Whitney, Ontario.

The community is fully serviced with stores, restaurants, outfitters, gas stations, an ATM, post office, library, doctor, gift shop and churches. All are within walking distance.

Algonquin Provincial Park offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Ontario, with endless opportunities to study nature in its purest form.

This view can be seen from the observation deck at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre.

While making the Algonquin East Gate Motel your headquarters for exploration, you will enjoy:

We have a few pairs of rental snowshoes - $20 per day (taxes included)

Canoe Routes

Our area is world renowned for it's canoe routes, and thousands of kilometers are available for your exploration.

We rent canoes by the day or the week.

Daily: $25.00
Weekly (5 days): $110.00

Canoe rental prices include two life jackets, 2 paddles, safety equipment and all taxes.
Other equipment is available upon request

We feature Old Town Royalex canoes. They are a sturdy, stable and easy to handle canoe. Local map and advice is given with canoe rental.

We also have one small, basic housekeeping cabin, 1 double bed in main room with 1 fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and dishes & bedding. In second room, 2 single beds. Small bathroom with shower and toilet. BBQ and fire pit just outside. Cabin is not air conditioned but has fans and moveable electric heater.			Prices same as # 10 & 11 above.

Cancellation Policy Our cancellation policy is 48 hours. The room will be charged to your credit card if you do not cancel and do not show up and we cannot rent the room.



	Pets are allowed for a one time fee per stay of $20.00 All Rooms are air conditioned and have individually controlled electric heat (except cabin), cable TV with movie channel. All rooms have a small fridge.
